  • In a large bowl, mix the ground pork and marinade. Allow the meat mixture to marinate in the refrigerator for approximately 30 minutes.
  • In another large mixing bowl, combine chopped chives and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Mix well.
  • Add the chives to the ground pork filling. Mix thoroughly until all the ingredients are evenly blended.
  • Take a dumpling wrapper and place a spoonful of the meat filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water to help seal the dumpling. Fold the wrapper in half, forming a half-moon shape. Press the edges firmly to seal the dumpling.
  • Repeat the process with the remaining dumpling wrappers and pork mixture until all the filling is used. Place the dumplings on a baking sheet dusted with flour, ensuring there is some space between each dumpling.
  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully drop the dumplings into the water and reduce the heat to medium. Boil until the dumplings float to the top and the filling is cooked through, approximately 8-10 minutes. Transfer the dumplings to a large plate using a slotted spoon.
  • Serve the pork and chive dumplings hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!

Notes

Note: You can also freeze the uncooked dumplings for later use. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze until firm. Once frozen, transfer them to a freezer bag for long-term storage. To cook, follow the instructions above, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
