  • Peel the bananas and mash them in a mixing bowl until smooth. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the egg, flour, rice flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir until a thick batter is formed.
  • Add the mashed bananas into the batter and mix until well combined.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a pot over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (180°C). Using a tablespoon, scoop a spoonful of the banana batter and carefully place it into the hot oil.
  • Fry the fritters until they turn golden brown and crispy, flipping them occasionally to ensure even cooking. This usually takes about 1-2 minutes per side.
  • Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried fritters from the oil and transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
