  • In a mixing bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients. Mix well until the brown sugar is dissolved.
  • Place the thinly sliced beef and sliced onion in a large zip-top bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the beef and onion, and allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat a grill to medium-high heat. Ensure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking. Place the beef slices on the preheated grill. Grill for about 1 to 2 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the Bulgogi to a serving platter. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Bulgogi is typically served with steamed rice, but you can also enjoy it wrapped in lettuce leaves as a delicious Korean BBQ wrap.

Notes
