  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and turn golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Turn the heat to medium, sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and onions, stirring constantly to coat evenly. Cook for 1-2 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.
  • Gradually pour in the beef broth, heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until it thickens, about 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
