  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until they are crispy. Place them on a paper towel to drain off excess grease.
  • Cut the ripe avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh into a bowl and mash it with a fork. Add minced garlic and season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  • Wash the tomato and slice it into thin rounds. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves, keeping them whole.
  • Lightly toast the bread slices in a toaster until they are golden brown.
  • Take one slice of toasted bread and spread a generous layer of mashed avocado on it. Place a few lettuce leaves and tomato slices on top of the avocado. Place the crispy bacon strips over the sliced tomato. Spread mayonnaise on the second slice of bread. Place the second slice of bread on top of the tomatoes, mayo-side down.
