2
cup
(370g) white rice
-
3
cup
(708g) water
-
1
tsp
(4g) oil
Instructions
-
Rinse the rice with cold water until the water runs clear, and ensure to drain off all the water once done.
-
Add oil, rice, and water to the rice cooker. If you prefer, you can soak the rice for thirty minutes. Select your cooking mode and press start. The rice cooker will automatically turn off when the rice is cooked through.
-
Let the rice sit covered for another 5-10 minutes. This allows the rice to absorb any remaining moisture and become fluffy and tender. Finally, remove the lid and fluff the rice with a rice paddle. Serve hot and enjoy!
Recipe Notes
The ratio of rice to water may vary depending on the type of rice and personal preferences. Adjust the water accordingly, keeping in mind that 1 cup of rice typically requires 1 1/2 to 2 cups of water for steaming.
