Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender. Drain the beans and transfer them to a plate.

In a casserole dish, combine the blanched green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Fold in half of the crispy fried onions into the green bean mixture.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until the green beans are tender and the casserole is bubbly around the edges. Add the remaining crispy fried onions on top and bake for 5 minutes or until the fried onions are golden brown and crispy.
