Ingredients
  • 4 lb (1814g) Alaskan king crab legs
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 6 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 1 lemon (cut into wedges)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped for garnish)
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
  1. Fill a large pot with enough water to submerge the crab legs fully. Bring the water to a boil. Carefully add the crab legs to the boiling water. Make sure they are fully submerged. Let the crab legs boil for approximately 6-8 minutes or until they're cooked thoroughly. Once the crab legs are done boiling, use the tongs to remove them from the pot, allowing any excess water to drain off. Place the boiled crab legs on a serving platter.
  2. While the crab legs are boiling, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 20 seconds or until fragrant. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Transfer the garlic butter sauce into a small bowl.
  4. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and lemon wedges for an extra burst of flavor.
Recipe Notes

If your crab legs are frozen, thaw them overnight in the refrigerator.
