(peeled and cubed)

(60g) milk or cream

(45ml) maple syrup or honey

Instructions

Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into evenly sized cubes.

Place the sweet potato cubes in a large pot and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium and let the sweet potatoes simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are fork-tender.

Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter, milk or cream, maple syrup or honey and salt to the pot with the sweet potatoes. Mash the sweet potatoes with a potato masher until they are smooth and creamy. Transfer the mashed sweet potatoes to a serving dish.
