Instructions

Combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Stir well to ensure the cornstarch is fully dissolved.

Thoroughly wash the broccoli and break it into small florets, cutting away the tough stems.

In a pot, bring water to a boil, add a pinch of salt to the boiling water. Blanch the broccoli in the boiling water for about 1 minute until it turns bright green and becomes slightly tender. Drain the broccoli and transfer it to a bowl. Set it aside.

Heat a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add the vegetable oil and minced garlic. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until the garlic becomes fragrant and lightly golden.
