(258 g) fresh lemon juice
(approximately 4-6 lemons)

1/2
cup
(100 g) granulated sugar

Instructions
-
Bring 4 cups (960 g) of water to a boil. Remove it from heat. Add the tea bags to the hot water and allow them to steep for about 5-6 minutes, or as per the tea's package instructions. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
-
Gradually add granulated sugar, stirring continuously until the sugar dissolves. You can adjust the amount of sugar to make the lemonade iced tea sweeter or less sweet to suit your taste.
-
While the tea is cooling, squeeze fresh lemons to obtain 1 cup (258 g) of lemon juice.
-
In a pitcher, combine the cooled tea and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Refrigerate the lemonade iced tea mixture for at least 1 hour or until it's well chilled.
-
Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the chilled lemonade iced tea into the glasses. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves, if desired.
